I've been driving past this place before work for a while now and finally decided to stop in and check it out. The outside was super cute they have a bunch of Christmas designs painted on the glass.
The staff was super friendly and I was greeted right away. Told them I was there for takeout and was handed the menu right away. They have a lot of seating inside where you can sit down and they actually come to your table to take your order. The decor is super cool with all the lunch boxes they have on every wall.
I ordered the Emma which was a warm pressed wrap with chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion, and bacon which was honestly amazing it was so warm and had a lot of flavor. I also got a side of chips and a sweet tea. I am usually picky on my sweet tea but this one was on point! I will for sure be back!! I recommend! -

I came here back to back days for lunch (unplanned) but super happy I did! For my first time here I got a sandwich and then the cook came out greeted my friend (whose a regular), told him that the special was the hot dog and we missed it but if we came in the next day he'd make it for us. So we came in the next day to have it and it was delicious, well worth coming back! The walls have cases filled with old time lunchboxes, they're great to look at and see all the different ones there are. It's a real casual place, comfortable and the staff are very friendly. The slices of cake they have are well worth trying too. They have lots of different kinds and we had a strawberry kind and a lemon kind (I think?? Sorry I can't remember!) take my word though!! You'll see from my pictures they're great portions and full of flavor. Enjoy!

What a great find! This is a simple, but quality place with excellent homestyle cooking. We each had a salad with chicken, mine was the Arboretum spinach with goat cheese, chicken, mandarin oranges and walnuts, Harry had the Asian salad with Cole slaw, chicken... sesame dressing. The corn bread was warm and moist and the seafood chowder was wonderful. Topped with good service, I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is surprisingly awesome! Stopped in one rainy day for a quick bite and was more than impressed. Got a soup and Sandwich and both were great. I'll definitely come back.

I was so happy with my first experience at The Lunchbox. I asked for the customer favorites of the hot sandwiches. North end Reuben was one of the favorites so I ordered that. It was better than I thought it would be. I recommend for this sandwich alone! It's a great lunch spot near the hospital. Bonus: One Belle Bakery is in the same shopping center.
